We lived for a month in a 2ndhomes apartment while our apartment was being renovated. And the experience was great - in many ways. Two families could stay in our 144-square-meter apartment, and it is located in the center of Helsinki, right in the center of all. Delivery of the keys was easy, and we received clear instructions for using the home appliances.

As soon as we entered, the children sighed in delight because the apartment was beautiful and bright. There was also a large bathtub, something we don't have in our own home. The beds were already made and the towels and necessary dishes were waiting in the cupboard. We adults, on the other hand, fell in love with the wonderfully spacious kitchen.

Homelike living works great for a family with children for short and longer stays on trips, work assignments or as "renovation refugees" like us. Everyday life settles down, cooking goes smoothly, and you feel at home in every way.

In the second home, the mind also opens up and it makes surprising observations about one's own living: what kind of reforms the actual home would need, or whether some part of everyday life unexpectedly works better in the spare home.

I have previously rented smaller apartments from 2ndhomes as workspaces in intensive projects, for a few days. We have also stayed with the family at 2ndhomes on trips to Tampere. By the way, 2ndhomes Tamepre has absolutely wonderful homes in amazing locations. This was the first time in a big family apartment for a long time, and we had a great time!
